Gilded Remnants explores the tension between permanence and decay. Two monolithic forms rise like architectural fragments, their surfaces overtaken by cascading metallic textures that appear both constructed and eroded – remnants transformed into something precious and enduring.
Crafted in microcement with cast brass elements, the work combines a restrained architectural base with richly textured metal. The irregular brass formations retain the raw character of the casting process, drawing inspiration from erosion, weathered surfaces and the traces that time leaves on built structures.
